What is this?

OldNET runs a bank of real modem-connected lines bridging PhreakNet callers through to a dial-up BBS. Two hunt groups cover the bank at different speeds, so both vintage and modern equipment have a home:

Join the VXLAN mesh

Bring your own MikroTik router into the OldNET WireGuard/VXLAN mesh and you're on the same virtual LAN as everyone else who's joined — same broadcast domain, no NAT in the way. That's what makes old-school stuff work again: IPX-based multiplayer games that need a real LAN to find each other, a shared DC++ hub for file sharing, and whatever else people stand up on the mesh. Your own bridge stays empty until you decide what to put on it, so nothing gets exposed you didn't choose yourself. See it under VXLAN once you're logged in.

Get your own extension

Sign up with an email and password, then request an extension from your profile — pick a specific number if you want one, or leave it to automatic assignment. An admin reviews every request; once approved, your SIP extension is provisioned automatically and shows up on your profile with the server details you need to register a softphone or real hardware. Your account password doubles as your SIP password, so there's only one to remember.
